Meet our people.

Brittany Knauf - Matron of Honor

Britt was one of my first friends when I started at Woodward Academy in 2nd grade. Even after attending college in different states and Brittany spending a few years in Texas with her husband, we have remained inseparable. Brittany has been a constant rock in my life through many key moments, and I could not imagine saying "I do" without her by my side. Fun fact about our friendship: I watched my first horror movie (if the first 3 minutes count) with Britt in her childhood home basement - to this day, I am still afraid of her basement! Britt LOVES a good horror movie... I have yet to watch one all the way through! HA

Max Hannot- Best Man

More than just my brother, Max is my best friend. Everyone needs someone in your life that brings sarcasm and magic to the coffee table. It is the spell of an honest friendship, a bond stronger than stainless steel and top-notch welding. The tree and tomato enthusiast will always trigger me to be my best self. Although he is my younger brother, he has easily become my role model. Fun fact, there is no one better to play poker with than Max.

Rob Woodward- Groomsman

The brother from another mother. With open arms did he welcome me to his American family. Secretly telling me the dos and dont’s of American culture, I have appreciated his friendship. I especially enjoyed our races down the mountain at Vail, and I am looking forward to even more adventures whether they are on the mountain or golf course. He was one of the first to know my intent of marrying his beautiful sister, and I am honored to have him by my side on this special day.

Lindsey Hubbard - Bridesmaid

AKA Hubbs, Lindsey is known as my travel companion, shopaholic twin, and part of the package deal since we met at Georgia Tech back in 2009. Nearly instant friends, I have always known Hubbs will be a friend for life. Even though our careers have placed us across the country from each other, we thouroughly enjoy finding a new place to meet up as if no time has passed! Fun fact: not only do Lindsey and I share the same taste in clothing, but we also love a lot of the same music- we have been to a lot of concerts together, but my favorite (she might be surprised to hear this - as we did see the Backstreet Boys) was Jet in college. I was obsessed with this band, and at the end of the concert, the drummer threw out his drum sticks... Hubs, being much taller than me, caught the stick and without question gave it to me. I still have it to this day...

Syd.jpg

Sydney Woodward - Bridesmaid

So excited to have Syd as a bridesmaid! Sydney is my sister-in-law, and also the MVP of Paul and I's engagement... From asking permission to picking the ring to getting my nails done, Syd was there every step of the way and always keeps the excitement flowing. I am so grateful to have a sister and best friend with Syd, and I am excited for so many fun memories to come! Fun fact: My all-time favorite story about Syd (sorry lady!) is that she left me a voicemail late one night after starting to date my brother, telling me how great of friends we would one day be. I wish I still had that voicemail - as she could not be more right!

Sebastian Finke- Groomsman

The electrician with more than just voltage in his heart. The big grizzly bear became my anchor of honesty and reflective feedback. There is no big decision that I have made without him. His hard shell hides the softest of hearts I have come to know. On trips around the country, I felt like an old couple - the only thing we were missing was a pair of rocking chairs. Who needs an advisory board if you have honest friends.

Rachel.jpg

Rachel Ness - Bridesmaid

Rachel is my "sister from another mister," and my big sister from sorority at Georgia Tech. What started as sisterhood via sorority, turned into sisterhood for life, as I look to Rachel as truly being a big sister to me. Gorgeous from the inside - out, Rachel is a constant source of light and laughter who has guided me through my career, friendships, and natural changes in life and relationships as time goes on. I am so honored to have her by my side! Fun fact: One of the coolest things a big sis can do is include you with her friends. Some of my all-time favorite memories come from weekend trips, bachelorettes, weddings, dinners, you name it, with her core group of friends. Rather than keeping our friendship separate, she always included me and brought me in to a circle of incredible women who I now know as friends to this day!

Johannes Kraskes- Groomsman

Words cannot describe Johannes …

Leslie Ann Galati-Newgent - Bridesmaid

Leslie Ann came into my life right after college through our bible study. She has been a constant source of light ever since… with her always say yes mentality and fabulous sense of humor, we have been through the ups and downs of our 20s together and I am beyond grateful for her friendship. Fun fact: Leslie Ann and I have celebrated most New Years and St. Patricks Days together since we met - we love a chance to get dressed up and celebrate, especially if it involves the Irish! Excited to have her getting dressed up with me for this very special celebration.

Christopher Kruse- Groomsman

Kruse and I stumbled over each other in high school. During breaks and free periods, you could find us at McDonalds... making everyone at school jealous for yet another McNugget menu. Soon we discovered that we were both two old souls. There was a time we tried dating twin sisters, but we ended up both giving our hearts away to Americans. P.S. Kruse, no purple pants at the wedding please.

Megan.jpg

Megan McDonough - Bridesmaid

Megan was one of my first friends at Georgia Tech - we met in the Honor's Program dorms (interesting characters there as you can imagine) and discovered that we were not the only nerds who also love to have fun, shop at Anthro, and enjoy the arts. We both spent many a night and day in the College of Architecture supporting each other's studio presentations and planning what to wear to our next date night. One of the smartest people I know, Megan continues to impress me with where life takes her and I am so humbled by her incredible friendship. Fun Fact: for a few years after returning from living in Texas, Megan lived around the corner from me. One of the favorite parts of my late 20s was waking up on a Saturday morning and walking to meet her at Starbucks for our weekly walk and catch-up. Though we live further apart now, Megan and I still love to get outside and walk with a phone catch-up (even when I am in Germany)!

Leon Fischer- Groomsman

There is no one else that can drop a hobby as quick as he can pick it up. I am lucky to call him my only friend that has seen me at my worst. If life would be like a roller coaster, he and I would be sitting in the first row just feeling better every minute #Ialreadyfeelbetter. Although I cannot share his passion for airplanes and aerospace, there is no one I would rather fly with over the ocean in an old chestnut.
