Want to venture further? Here are some cities that would require a train ride, but are close enough for a day trip:

Looking for a place to shop? We have you covered! Mental note- shops here are likely to close as early as 4 or late as 6/8, be sure to check online first.

• For shops for clothing, souvenirs, home decor, etc - we recommend strolling the streets of Warendorf or Muenster

• Forget something at home? No problem! Any of the towns we have listed here will have all your basics!

  • Edeka, Rewe, Lidl, K&K, Aldi - these are all grocery stores and are likely to have what you need

  • Apotheke is the pharmacy

You are surrounded by ideal walking grounds! Here are a few suggestions if you want to get outside and explore:

• Waldmutter (wonderful walking around hotel)

• Vorhelm Castle (one of Allie’s most visited spots)

Germany is famous for its walkability and bike friendly transportation options - pick a direction and go, you will likely stumble upon a beautiful walking path in the woods next to an alpaca farm (true story, come for a walk in our town of Enniger and see if you can find it!)

Want to get a taste of the local beer? Nearly any town or city will have a beer garden where you can try a taste of German beer. We are also located close to the Pott’s brewery if you want to take a tour!
